Because Verified means Censored.

Unverified Media was started on August 9th, 2024, and significantly expanded the following monthwhen I took ownership of Instagram accounts which I formerly ran for Plots, Inc., and proceeded to rebrand them under Unverified.

As of September 10, 2024, Unverified commands a combined following across eight accounts of over 7,000 people, with the largest account at Ohio State recently surpassing 4,700. 

Nearly all content posted to Unverified is outright owned, while only the remaining small section being either transformatively memed into a uniquely derivative work, or being licensed to us by others.
